| MCRC Exits Mezzanine Investment in Packaging Technology Group |
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Fall River, MA, PTG provides thermal packaging solutions to transport temperature-sensitive products for the life sciences industry. PTG’s TRUEtemp Naturals® Line, first launched in 2018, utilizes proprietary design and manufacturing technologies to provide pharmaceutical-grade, time-temperature performance in an eco-friendly, 100% curbside recyclable and repulpable solution. A recent study shows PTG’s sustainable shippers provide an 80% decrease in overall environmental impact compared to a standard cold-chain industry shipper.
In January 2020 and again in November 2020, MCRC provided subordinated debt to support growth.
In March 2022, PTG announced its acquisition by Cold Chain Technologies of Franklin, MA, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners. The press release can be found here:
