Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Sudbury, MA., PureHD is the fifth largest US provider of commercial satellite TV and Internet streaming services to hospitality, military lodging, education, MDU, and health care facilities. In addition to watching traditional live satellite TV and premium movie channels, guests can seamlessly cast to the guest room TV their favorite content from their personal devices and easily access their personal premium streaming APPs such as NetFlix and HBOMax. PureHD also customizes its entertainment systems to allow for “touchless remote control”, a searchable interactive TV guide, and a digital hotel services compendium. The proceeds of MCRC’s loan and equity investment were utilized to support the founder’s repurchase of all outstanding shares held by third party investors.
